The doctors are usually nice. But I am writing this as I continue to wait 40+ minutes past my appointment time. People are getting called that have come in after me... so I'm not sure what the deal is. Lack of organization? Laziness? Just don't care? Unfortunately this is the only primary care closest to my home.

After going to SPC for years for wellness and when ill, I will never return. After my insurance changed I decided to condense doctors and go to Shores Primary Care for refills on medications I have been on for years (with proof from prescription history). I saw Tara, a very nice nurse practioner who was new. She stated that after talking to her supervisor she was not able to refill my medications because another doctor used to and they don't have current diagnosis. I stated they could contact my prior doctor and get my file, they could also check my prescription history showing consistent use of these medications for years. I even stated I was open to different medications, but she denied me any treatment at all stating she would need to refer me. I was treated as if I were drug seeking when clearly my history shows I am the opposite. I have a graduate degree, work in the mental health field and am very aware of current procedures and abilities of physicians... I waited an hour to be refused treatment and I will be sure to let everyone I know in the SCS area and everyone in my network to avoid Shores Primary Care.

Absolutely terrible staff. They make you feel like less of a person. The location is very dirty and the front desk finds fun in making their patients wait for their prescriptions. Tried to call in my prescription that should have been filled three days prior and the staff laughed at me and said they were busy. You are suppose to work in that industry to help people not hold their necessary prescriptions over their heads.
